VGATron FAQ

Q: I can't start vgatron. Error: "svgalib: Cannot get I/O permissions."
A: Start it as root! This will work

Q: Why can't I run vgatron as non-root user?
A: SVGAlib doesn't support it! see http://www.svgalib.org

Q: But I want to start it as non-root user!!!
A: Do You? Ok then run as root `chmod u+s /usr/local/bin/vgatron`

Q: Doesn't work! I get this: "chmod: getting attributes of `/usr/local/bin/vgatron': No such file or directory"
A: vgatron isn't in /usr/local/bin/ maybe You set another path by ./configure

Q: I've no root on machine! What should I do?
A: FORGET IT!
